Chantier Naval de l’Estérel puts professionals at your service for high quality work in an exceptional environment. Located just below Fort Royal on the island of Sainte Marguerite in a magnificent natural site opposite Cannes, Chantier Naval de l’Estérel has existed since 1936.

It is the last boatyard of the region to possess such equipment, which gives it a definite advantage as it offers the possibility to haul out all types of vessel, even the most fragile and damaged.

We specialise in the restoration of motor and sailing yachts. We work with all types of material and benefit from a broad spectrum of know-how and expertise. We can also ensure the maintenance and repair of your vessel, interior and exterior modifications, and construction.

FAQ

+ How do I get to the boatyard ?

There are several possibilities:

  • From Port Canto, our regular shuttle (the Bacoulou) leaves the quay in front of the harbour master's office Monday to Friday at 7:30 a.m. The crossing takes 10 minutes.
  • Trans Côte d'Azur proposes a regular shuttle service from the old port of Cannes (see "Access" for further information). The crossing takes around 15 minutes.
  • Or on request. Contact us on +33 (0)4 93 43 33 50) and we can pick you up at Port Canto or at the Palm Beach with one of our fast tenders.

+ Is there space for tenders in the port ?

We will organise things with the port if you need a berth for your tender while your yacht is ashore.

+ Is there a car park at Port Canto ?

Port Canto offers subscriptions or packages according to the length of your stay within the port enclosure, which is guarded.

+ Can we rent containers ?

During your work in the yard, we rent containers to store the equipment and facilities that have been removed from your yacht.

+ Is accommodation available on the islands ?

Only within the boatyard enclosure: crews of vessels undergoing work can sleep aboard, provided they respect the environment (waste, noise, etc.). Sanitary facilities are available at the boatyard.

It is also possible to stay at Fort Royal (information at: www.cannes-jeunesse.fr).

+ Black-water facilities ?

On the arrival of your yacht at the boatyard, we can connect your black-water outlets to the collective network so that the crews remaining aboard can use the vessel's heads.
