Chantier Naval de l’Estérel has been NF Boating certified since 29 October 2008:
Certificat n°08/0048, issued by AFNOR Certification.
We are regularly controlled by AFNOR Certification.
Our activity is intimately linked to the sea, a fragile and natural environment.
We are situated in the immediate vicinity of the Fort on Ste Marguerite Island, a sensitive site which means that we have to be particularly vigilant with respect to our environment. That is why we committed ourselves to establishing a system for the management of the environment with the aim of obtaining and keeping ISO 14001 certification.
We reached this objective in October 2006, when Chantier Naval de l’Estérel became the first boatyard in France to be certified ISO 14001 by the AFAQ-AFNOR Certification body.
ISO 14001 certification: 2004 no. ENV/2006/27789
This international standard allows us to formalise our action for the preservation of the environment with a commitment to ongoing improvement.
We are audited annually by AFAQ-AFNOR Certification, who advises us, inspects and validates our programme of improvement and the results we obtain.
